The objective of establishing Mining Technology S.I.M. AG in 2005 was to implement high foreign technologies in mining companies of Russia and CIS countries, including winders, main mine fans and unit heaters, size reduction equipment, mine conveying equipment and transfer units, special machines to dislodge manual labor under the mine opening conditions.

The Russian LLC «МТ SIMAG Rus» was set up in 2016 to make operation in the mining equipment market more comfortable in

the countries of the Customs Union and to improve competitiveness.
